The El Campanario Archaeological Project provided me with an abundance of skills in human and faunal osteology, paleopathology, scientific writing and research dissemination, and archaeological material analysis. More importantly the project prepared me for a fulfilling career in CRM/archaeology, supplied me with a wealth of knowledge in Andean archaeology, and provided an unforgettable experience with lifelong professionals and personal relationships. Jose is and incredible field director and mentor, doing important work for the area and research specific to the Casma.
